Medical History

C/O- Burning and bloody stool, loose stool 5-7 times a day, tenesmus, weight loss. Ailment time period- 1 year

Treatment history- Tried allopathy, Ayurveda, homeopathy but still no improvement. Later when the student returned to the home town, her parents contacted me for her treatment.

Case Management

Ayurveda pathogenesis-

Diagnosis- Pittaj grahani,

Hetu- Pitta prakriti, rash lifestyle, fast foods, late-night hostel parties, no intake of milk and ghee, less intake of sugar, irregular menses.

-Full milk diet (due to severity of symptoms), swarna parpati, 7 days followup.
Added Bael murraba in diet, rest same.
Same routine for 30 days.
Diet changes after 30 days. Now diet with fewer spices, sour items, and less salt.

Sugar rich meals with cows ghee. Meds changed. Panchamrit parpati, Bilagyl, tapyadi loha, and coconut oil body massage for Pacifying Pitta dosha.

Treatment continued for 120 days.

-The patient had a good response in the first week of treatment.
-Symptoms were reduced effectively within two weeks' time. Weight gained, stool

frequency reduced two 1-2 times a day with firm consistency of stool. -By the end of one month, there were 90% relics in all complaints. Treatment

continued for 120 days, and then the patient discontinued it due to her job placement.
